The HI99163 pH meter for meat is a specific instrument for the analysis of the pH of meat products

The electrode FC 232D, the special design incorporates many essential functions to operate reliably without damaging the sample. The probe includes an integrated temperature sensor that provides automatic temperature compensation, an open junction to avoid clogging of the junction. In addition, the material covering the outer body of the probe is non-toxic. The probe body has an external thread for screwing the body firmly on the penetration blade FC 099 stainless steel, included in the kit. The replaceable blade penetration allows the user to measure not only the surface but also the internal pH of the meat.
The pH meter for meat is easy to use and includes only two buttons. All necessary information is clearly indicated on the LCD display. Besides the pH display and temperature, the liquid crystal display of the HI 99163 model also indicates the stability of the measurement and the remaining battery charge. The calibration is automatic in one or two points and can be selected from two sets of memorized buffers. The lifespan of the battery is more than 1500 hours, the instrument will automatically turn off after eight minutes of inactivity.

The open junction design consists of a solid gel interface (viscolene) between the sample and internal Ag/AgCl reference. This interface not only prevents silver from entering the sample, but also makes it impermeable to clogging, resulting in a fast response and stable reading.

CONNECTING THE ELECTRODE
With the meter turned off, connect the FC2323 probe to the DIN socket on the bottom of the meter by aligning the pins and pushing in the plug firmly.

Remove the protective cap from the probe before taking any measurements.
