This 4 gas monitor is smaller than many single gas monitors! Presenting the world’s smallest gas detector that you can easily clip within the breathing zone.
The unit simultaneously monitors LEL combustibles, O2, CO (Hydrogen compensated CO also available), and H2S. Using the new generation of microsensors, the GX-3R is the latest evolution in dangerous gas detection equipment. Two active filaments in the sensor increase its resistance to silicone poisoning: if one filament gets poisoned the second one takes over. The all-new electrochemical O2 sensor has a 3 – 5 year life span. H2S and CO detection is now available in a combo microsensor.
It simultaneously monitors and displays LEL combustibles, O2, CO (Hydrogen compensated CO also available), and H2S.
Ideal for safety supervisors
If there was a gas alarm event, the instrument was not bump tested, or calibration is due, the 3 LED lights will flash every 30 sec. (interval is adjustable). OSHA defines the breathing zone as a ten-inch radius around the worker’s nose. Air sampling filters can be attached to the collar or lapel.

QUICK TIP:
Measuring Mode Operation
When the GX-3R completes its startup sequence, it is in Measuring Mode. In Measuring Mode the GX-3R continuously monitors the sampled atmosphere and displays the target gas concentrations. The GX-3R is considered to be in Normal Operation if there are no alarm indications.
Heart Symbol: The heart symbol in the upper left corner of the LCD indicates the operation status and blinks when normal. A microprocessor error causes the heart symbol to stop flashing or to disappear.
Check Mark: If BUMP.RMDR is set to ON and if a bump test is not due, a checkmark appears in the upper left corner of the LCD.
“S”: If the instrument is operating in Stealth Mode, an “S” appears at the top of the LCD.
Backlight: In a low-light environment, press and release either button to turn on the display backlight.
Confirmation/Non-Compliance Indicator: If the BEEP menu item in User Mode is set to anything other than OFF, the GX-3R gives periodic indications to confirm that it’s operating or to indicate a non-compliance.
