The new Elcometer 456 separate coating thickness gauge sets new standards measuring the thickness of a coating, helping you to become more efficient

Separate models, with their wide range of probes, provide even greater measurement flexibility. All probes are fully interchangeable; whilst ferrous gauges accept any ferrous probe and non-ferrous gauges accept any non-ferrous probes the dual FNF gauges accept all ferrous, non-ferrous, and dual FNF probes. Beginning with Model E and ending with Model T, the Elcometer 456 is available in four different models. Our most advanced model, Model T features memory, alpha-numeric batching, and Bluetooth® communication.

**Note: The Elcometer 456 Separate gauges require the use of a compatible probe – Sold Separately.**

How to use Elcometer 456 to obtain a reading:

1. Hold the probe by its sleeve
2. Bring the probe down onto the surface whilst holding it perpendicular
3. For subsequent readings, lift the probe off and replace it on the surface
DO:
Gently place the probe on the surface
Allow the sleeve to make contact with the surface to improve accuracy
DO NOT:
Drag the probe over the coated surface
Bang the probe down on the surface
Allow the surface to hover over the surface (could produce a false reading)
