The Dissolved Oxygen Tracer PockeTester offers direct reading of Conductivity, Total Dissolved Solids, Salinity, and Temperature with one electrode.

This meter measures the dissolved oxygen of a water sample in a very non-invasive way as it requires the sensor only to be placed in a sample. This method requires small samples and has almost no effect on a water system. It is great for spot checking fish tanks, ponds, lakes, rivers and practically any other body of water for its dissolved oxygen content.

Dissolved oxygen measurements are an excellent indication of health in a water system. The dissolved oxygen in water is essential for plant and animal life in water and can be supplemented by humans through the use of a bubbler or circulating pump.

Low dissolved oxygen readings increase the relative population of anaerobic organisms such as plants and some bacteria, which can potentially result in fish kills.
