A compact test kit for measuring moisture content and dew-point of concrete floors and slabs prior to coatings application.
This kit is ideal for instant, non-destructive, quantitative moisture content testing of concrete floors and ambient conditions. Designed for monitoring the most crucial information at the time of application, it uses Gravimetric testing as a baseline and comparative testing as per ASTM F2659.
Kit Contents
- Concrete Moisture Encounter 5 – CME5
- Feedback Datalogger DL-RHTA
- Free App available for Android and iOS (phone not included)
- Contact Temperature Probe
- Extension Handle
The Tramex Feedback Datalogger is used for testing, monitoring, and time-logging ambient relative humidity, temperature, and dew point. The Tramex Concrete Coatings Installer Tech Kit comes with an extension handle in a Tramex Easy-travel case. Bluetooth connectivity to the Tramex Meters App allows for visualization of readings and data reporting to mobile devices. GeoTag tests results, creating, saving, and sharing photos, reports, and charts, as well as seeing your meter screen on your phone when extending to hard-to-reach places.
The Contact Temperature (Determinator Probe) and CMEX5 allow for a unified gravimetric-based testing method of moisture content both on the surface and within the body of the concrete. %MC readings for both the in-situ and the non-destructive surface tests eliminate confusion between different testing method data. The Determinator conductive probes are reusable, extendable, and require no plastic hole liners. The hole diameter required is the same for the Hygro-i2 RH test as per F2170.
