SterilAmp II®
Product Description
SterilAmp II® is a small, sealed, glass ampoule containing a prepared media of Soybean-Casein Digest Broth and Bromocresol Purple pH indicator which is inoculated with sterilization-resistant spores. When the ampoule is incubated at the appropriate temperature, the organism will grow. The physical characteristic showing growth is a color change from purple to or toward yellow and/or turbidity.

Indications for Use
SterilAmp II is a compact, self-contained biological indicator used to monitor the efficacy of steam sterilization processes of liquids. SterilAmp II comes in 2 convenient sizes.The smaller size also allows the units to be placed inside thermowells to effectively monitor Sterilization-in-Place (SIP) of product transport lines and filling machines.
Packaging
SterilAmp II is available in bags of 100 ampoules plus 10 negative control (NC) ampoules. Negative controls are also available separately in a bag of 10.
Labeling
- Each bag contains a self-adhesive label on the outside to identify the product.
