Product Description
MesaDisc Steam consists of a paper disc inoculated with a sterilization-resistant spore population packaged in a glassine envelope, or bulk without an envelope. The glassine envelope serves as a microbial barrier that protects the spore disc from post sterilization contamination.

Indications for Use
MesaDisc Steam is an industrial use biological indicator that can be used to monitor the efficacy of steam sterilization cycles across a wide range of temperatures.
Packaging
MesaDiscs are available in bags of 100 individual glassine-wrapped discs or bulk discs directly packaged into a foil pouch.
Labeling
- The glassine envelopes are labeled with product type, organism, lot number and expiration date.
- Each bag contains a self-adhesive label on the outside to further identify the product.
