Product Description
SterilAmp II® 5230 is a small, sealed, glass ampoule containing a prepared media of Soybean-Casein Digest Broth and a pH indicator which is inoculated with sterilization-resistant spores. When the ampoule is incubated at the appropriate temperature, the organism will grow. The physical characteristic showing growth is a color change from red/orange to or toward yellow and/or turbidity.

Indications for Use
SterilAmp II 5230 is a compact, selfcontained biological indicator used to monitor the efficacy of low temperature (110 – 118°C) steam sterilization of liquids.
Packaging
SterilAmp II 5230 is available in bags of 100 ampoules plus 10 negative control (NC) ampoules. Negative controls are also available separately in a bag of 10.
Labeling
- Each bag contains a self-adhesive label on the outside to identify the product.
